Countries have different educational cultures, and all students learn how to follow the expectations of their schools and teachers. At your U.S. university, you may be confused by how classrooms work or you may feel uncertain about how to best participate or interact in class. This workshop will introduce you to typical unspoken rules for participation in U.S. schools and universities. You will consider and analyze how these differ from your educational training and how you can adapt for academic success. You will also learn strategies for communicating with classmates in class.
