Interviewing Essentials

Job interviews in the U.S. typically follow a common structure. This workshop provides an overview of what to expect during a job interview, along with tips for what to do before, during, and after the job interview. You will learn and practice the STAR method, which you can use to answer competence-based interview questions that ask you to give examples of how you demonstrated skills in the past. You will also draft and practice an elevator pitch that you can use to introduce yourself and showcase your skills.
