This workshop introduces the Global Citizenship Course, in which students consider their own perspectives and biases in order to begin to develop new perspectives as global citizens. Students explore what global citizenship means and are introduced to the kinds of attitudes, knowledge and skills an engaged global citizen needs to meet global challenges. They also consider quotes from changemakers and how they relate to global citizenship. Students discover how developing intercultural competence can help them succeed academically, socially, and professionally.
