Understanding CPT and OPT

Many international students are interested in gaining practical work training in the U.S. In this workshop, you will learn about professional training opportunities that are permitted under J-1 student visas. You will discover the value of internships and how they may be integrated into programs of study as Curricular Practical Training (CPT). You will also learn the opportunities and restrictions for Optional Practical Training (OPT) at undergraduate, master’s and PhD levels of study.
