Many students have questions about where they will live while they attend university. Where you will live depends on many factors, including whether you are an undergraduate or a graduate student and the housing requirements of your university or program. This workshop explains standard university housing options—rooms, suites, and apartments, including what is included in a typical dormitory room and building. If you can choose where to live, you can use this workshop to explore the benefits of on-campus living vs. off-campus options so you can decide what type of housing is best for you. You can also learn about typical dining options on university campuses and how meal plans are structured. Finally, you will learn about typical food options available in the U.S., as well as how to obtain groceries and meals through delivery services.
