Developing Listening and Notetaking Skills

This workshop combines instruction on listening strategies with an introduction to various notetaking formats. Students learn how listening input is processed in the brain and how they can identify specific listening problems to focus on. They also learn how to choose the best type of notetaking format to capture key information from lectures, helping them improve their comprehension and retention, as well as enabling them to create useful notes to review for exams.
